In a world where there are so many different school of thoughts and opinions, it can easily become exhausting trying to keep up with the expectations of others.
“There is a way that seems right but the end is destruction”.
How do we decide who is right or who is wrong? Several groups in society are fighting or competing to be heard, but how do we choose what and who to follow, who should we listen to?
The answer is all in the Word of God, that is the Bible. There is nothing new under the sun. Knowing which way to go and what and who to listen to starts with spending time reading and understanding the Bible. It gives us a good roadmap for our lives, how to deal with the information all around us, the competing opinions and endless voices. The most of important of these voices is the voice of God which we can start to hear through the pages of the word.
To stay on the right path requires being intentional about reading the word of God. It is not enough that we read it just for answers in one area of our lives, it is important we read it to find answers for every area of our lives.
“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” Joshua 1:8 NLT
To find these answers we should spend time in the word of God continually, knowing the most important voice we need to hear in a world filled with so many is the voice of God.
